exactly makes Gatlinburg, TN
|
Upon arriving, we learned that the area offers
couples and families everything needed to escape into a beautiful,
fun-filled paradise.It was breathtaking, to say the least!
As we walked the parkway, headed for Fort Fun, we noticed that no matter which direction we looked in, there was another great view to be enjoyed.
We were surrounded by majestic mountains, charming architecture, floral decorations and smiling faces.
Everyone looked
happy and loving walking through downtown Gatlinburg! That
was
completely different than what we were used to seeing on vacation.
We played a
round of blacklight mini-golf and all three of
us had a
blast!
After having some fun with our daughter, we drove to the cabin rental office to check-in.
We experienced more gracious hospitality from the great office staff and followed a map to our Cobbly Nob cabin (which we later found out was a chalet).
We fell in love!
We spent so much time enjoying the private view of the Smokies from our secluded deck, shooting pool in our own game room, soaking in the hot tub and taking in the romantic ambiance of the cabin itself, that we didn't have much reason to venture back out.
However, we had to visit Ripley's Aquarium, and the three of us were all blown away by what we experienced there.
On this particular occasion, we were short on time and money. We never expected this much fun and luxury since we were originally searching for a cheap cabin vacation.
My family discovered that our weekend getaway to the mountains was not just another family trip; It was magical, memorable and highly addictive!
We have made Gatlinburg, TN our regular vacation spot and hope that you and your loved ones get the opportunity to indulge in all that it has to offer as well.
